"Face of an Angel" © 2004 David Frazier

March 6, 2004

One of my favorite images...

We think of angels as perfect beings: beautiful, flawless creatures. Scripture reveals them to be warriors, guardians of mankind, ever vigilant, ever engaged in battle. This close up of an angel figurine reveals scratches and marks that one can easily imagine as battle scars. Yet the angel, though deeply scarred, retains an inner beauty manifested in a soft, peaceful smile.
